vSig is 100% free. No ads will be displayed on your signature; you are free to mention us as a thank you!

• What's the history of vSig?
vSig began in early 2005 as a set of PHP scripts to create dynamic images for daily quotes. Eventually, vSig was expanded to include more features, such as online/offline status. Eventually, people wanted vSigs for themselves. So, vSig 1 was created with simple features. Each vSig was created by hand. Today, the vSig system has been revamped into an easy, powerful signature system. With over 3,000 users, vSig is always growing.

• How is it done?
The images are rendered using a combination of backgrounds, overlays, text, etc. by our servers. Everything is accomplished by PHP and the GD/Imagemagick libraries.

• What browser is best for the vSig Drag and Drop editor?
Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome all work well with the editor. Internet Explorer works also. Opera, Konqueror, exotic browsers, and so on, are not supported (but they could work).
